Print and Go Preschool Activities

Beginning Phonics and Math

As we began our home school journey, I realized that my son wanted “school” of his own.  On days when I had easy engaging activities planned for him, he would would quickly work along side his sister, and then go play quietly.  When I did not have something planned, he was disruptive.

I looked into other home preschool programs that were out there, and I used some of these with my daughter.  I found that while these are great programs they required a lot of my attention.  Which is not what I was looking for this time around.  I wanted a home preschool curriculum that is print and go, creates a love of learning and builds confidence.

The worksheets below were created with those visions in mind.

The only supplies you will need are a colored printer, crayons and pattern blocks.  It is also helpful to have do-a-dot markers and small counters.

Beginning Math

The files below introduce different math concepts.

They are intended to be used along side the Beginning Phonics Printables, and you may notice that each week aligns with a letter theme.

Letter A Printable Pack - Whats the HAP Preschool

Beginning Phonics

These printables focus on getting familiar with some of the letters and their sounds, along with some fine motor pre-hand writing skills.

Do-A-Dot markers are great ways to make some of these worksheets more fun.  It is also fun to use counters for mazes.  If using a crayon isn’t their thing, there are still plenty of ways to have fun with these worksheets.

Fairy Tales

We love going to the library and looking for as many versions of a particular fairy tale as we can find.  You wouldn’t believe how many versions there are of Goldilocks and The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs and Little Red Ridding Hood.  Here are some printables we made to go along with those stories.

More coming soon.
